Rick Warren, pastor of the famous Saddleback Church, burned his eyes on Monday in a gardening accident and was rushed to the hospital. Warren was gardening when he wiped some sap into his eyes that was from a firestick plant. the sap from this plant causes severe burns and it left Warren in excruciating pain. It is being reported the the burns caused Warren to suffer from temporary blindness. Warren arrived back at his home this morning and is asking for prayers. Larry Ross, spokesman for Warren, tweeted that the Pastor should suffer no permanent damage and is expected to make a full recovery.
