Nancy Dolman, wife of actor Martin Short, has died suddenly at the age of 58, reports Radaronline.
Dolman passed away Saturday, Aug. 21 at the couple’s home outside Los Angeles. The LA Fire Department responded to an emergency call at their home early Saturday morning. The LAFD was there roughly 30 minutes but did not take anyone to the hospital, so it is believe Dolman passed away at the house, according to Radar. Dolman was diagnosed with cancer in 2007, but there is no word as to whether that is the cause of her death.
Dolman and Short met in 1972 on a production of “Godspell” and marriedin 1980. She leaves behind three children with Short — Katherine, 27,Oliver, 24 and Henry, 20. Dolman is best known for her stint on thepopular ’80s comedy “Soap.” Short is currently nominated forOutstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for next Sunday’s (Aug.29) Primetime Emmys for his work on “Damages.”
