Kelsey Grammer isn’t done talking about the bad old days with his ex-wife Camille.

Days after the former Fraiser star argued that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was a “parting gift” to his third wife, the actor is opening up about Camille’s motivations in their marriage.

Speaking to Piers Morgan Monday, Kelsey, 56, said that the newly-minted reality star, 43, married him for his industry status. “I think she married me because I was ‘Frasier,’” Kelsey argued, referring to the TV character he made famous in primetime from 1993-2004.

Once he saw stars in his ex’s eyes, Kelsey offered her the “parting gift” of Housewives. “Whether or not it worked well for her doesn’t matter,” Kelsey told Morgan of Camille. “It was my way of saying, ‘Look, you always wanted to be famous. Here you go.’”

While the actor argues that reality TV is not a direct path to stardom, “you still get attention; you still get all those things that come along for the ride, which I think is what she was most interested in,” he told Morgan.

As their marriage disintegrated on camera, Camille has said that in hindsight that she realized her husband may have had an ulterior motive when he signed on to do Broadway. “Looking back, maybe he wanted to keep me preoccupied in California while he was off having his affair in New York,” ex Playboy model Camille told the New York Post last year.

Kelsey told Morgan he wished he was more upfront with Camille about the fact that their relationship wasn’t going to make it.

“I was trying to do some noble gesture to make the destruction of the previous marriage go easier somehow and that was a mistake,” says Kelsey, who began dating current wife Kayte Walsh, 30, while he was in New York City performing on Broadway. “I should have walked home and said ‘we’re done. you finally have everything you wanted, and I’ve found a new life.’

Kelsey married Walsh in February 2011 at NYC’s Longacre Theater, where he staged La Cage Aux Folles. he famously expedited his divorce from Camille two weeks earlier in order to fast-track his nuptials with the British flight attendant.

Kelsey Grammer: Camille Married ‘Frasier,’ Not Me

This week I have the unenviable task of reviewing the trailer for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. the latest film to be made from Stephenie Meyer’s suck-terpiece of a book series that started with Twilight, which I called “quite possibly the worst book I have ever read.” I’m just telling you this, my biases on the trailer are clear to everyone.

The trailer opens with a hunky Jacob approaching Bella and Edward outside the school. Bella’s worried the two will clash, and Edward tells Jakie to get lost. Jacob says that Bella has the right to know that everyone is making fun of her for her droopy eyes and bad acting. Bella tells Jacob, “Look who’s talking mr. Can’t even get One Line right the first Time.”

Edward intercedes, and tells them that people are dying in Seattle. she doesn’t know what this means, but he tells her that it means that someone is building an army of vampires. the army of vampires looks more like a big gang than an army, and more like zombies than vampires. this trailer doesn’t let the facts get in the way though.

This leads to the situation that everyone has been waiting for. Jacob and Edward, werewolf and vampire, must join forces to defeat the big gang of zombies. the zombies emerge from the water Navy Seal style and the council of uptight vampires declares that it’s time.

Time for what? the battle appears to be like how the Civil War was fought, but without guns. everyone just runs at each other in a big group, which absolutely makes no sense, but whatever.

The pounding chorale music begins and punctuates the final action montage of vampire vs. zombie and werewolf vs. zombie action with a side of smoldering eyes thrown in. If you’ve made it this far into the trailer then you deserve some sort of a medal (or a +2 ring of intelligence and manliness to counteract the 2 points you lost for watching it).

The trailer clocks in at around 90 seconds as opposed to the 150-second length I normally get to review. my heartfelt thanks to the producers for that.

Ending Prognostication: I have no idea how this will end, but I’m sure everyone going to the movie will. I’m sure Jacob, Bella and Edward all survive for the next movie, and leader of the big gang of zombies dies. I’d like it to end with a nuclear holocaust that only wipes out zombies, vampires, werewolves and Bella, but I only give that a 0.0007% chance of being correct.

Fun with IMDb: From the producers of Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London and My Sassy Girl comes a movie with the stars from Zacharia Farted and Puff, Puff, Pass.

Conclusion on Trailer: the acting is bad. the effects are bad. the person they cast as Royce King is completely wrong. the story is ridiculous. do not watch this trailer under any circumstance, even if your tweenage daughter wants you to.

Conclusion on Movie: Every effort should be employed to actively discourage anyone from seeing this movie. start a picket line. Write your representative. Speak at schools about the dangers of Twilight. Form a phone chain that blankets the globe. For every person you prevent from seeing this movie, a sparkly vampire dies!

Trailer Review: The Twilight Saga: Eclipse

Tesla Motors began publicly trading its stock Tuesday, opening at $19 a share on its first official day on the Nasdaq.

It marks an incredible debut for an electric-car company that has yet to turn a profit, and the debut was above the $17 offer price for the highly anticipated IPO.

Though the stock market tumbled Wednesday, Tesla opened at $19 a share and in recent trades has settled in at about $18.

Tesla is most known for the two-seat all-electric Roadster, which has become a novelty toy for Hollywood celebrities and venture capitalists.

Many cleantech start-ups, most notably solar manufacturer Solyndra, have shelved or put their IPO plans on hold because of stock-market jitters.

But Tesla has already beaten the odds. interest from investors was so high that Tesla priced its IPO at $17 a share, higher than its estimated range of $14 to $16. Tesla and its shareholders sold 13.3 million shares and raised $226 million.

But the Palo Alto company faces enormous challenges as it races to get its Model S sedan into production and faces growing competition from established automakers who are rolling out their own electric vehicles in the coming months.

One of the best ways to buy a house with almost zero down is to buy a FHA owned home.  When FHA has to foreclose because borrowers are not making payments, they offer a very special program to buy their houses for $100 down and they will credit you 3% for closing costs.  The prices on the HUD homes tend to be very good.  You will still have to qualify for a new FHA 30 year fixed loan.  Today’s rates are the best in 45 years with borrowers able to get 30 year fixed in the low 5% range.  This will help you keep your payments low.

Give me a call or email and I can point you towards the HUD homes and get you qualified.  rob@affinity-financial.com  858-922-7899.
