The 38-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star married Mixed Martial Arts manager Darin Harvey over the weekend, but don’t send over any wedding gifts just yet.

“[We're] married!” Eddie Cibrian‘s ex-wife told Us Weekly. “But to make it legal, I have to go to the courthouse today and I don’t think we’re gonna. Super fun though!”

“We’re not gonna stay married,” she then clarified. “But it was a fun way to start out the new year!”

The former model informed fans of her new relationship status via Twitter Sunday: “I’m married again- suuuuuuck it!”

A source told Us that Glanville, who shares two sons with Cibrian, has been friends with Harvey for 20 years and the duo are “like brother and sister.”

CreativeAmerica Copies Content To Support Anti-Copying Bills

Remember CreativeAmerica? That’s the pro-SOPA/PIPA astroturf group that the big Hollywood studios set up, pretending that it was a “grassroots” campaign (even though its grassroots efforts aren’t turning up many supporters). for a group that positions itself as being really strongly pro-stronger, more draconian copyright, you would think that it would be careful to, you know, not copy others, right? but, really, what’s a little copying among people lobbying over bills about the evils of copying? yes, it appears that the good folks at CreativeAmerica just happened to notice that the large and growing anti-SOPA/PIPA forces have mobilized the public to go out to various town hall meetings for Senators to protest PIPA… and they decided, “Hey, we should do that!” but, rather than creating their own campaign, and doing the legwork (and, trust me, there’s a lot of legwork involved) to actually compile the list of townhalls and then to craft an email to supporters… it seems that CreativeAmerica thought it would be easier to just copy someone else’s… and… um… “remix” it. you can see the email that Public Knowledge sent to people protesting PIPA here. And, here is the email that CreativeAmerica just sent to people urging them to go to the same town hall meetings in support of PIPA. you… may notice some similarities. Here are the two emails side by side. yes, they made some changes…. er… remixes… but it’s pretty obvious that CreativeAmerica just took PK’s email and made a few edits. It’s especially obvious when you look at the 3 point list of instructions… which is almost word-for-word. click for larger version as for the two meetup groups… you can see Public Knowledge’s town hall meetup here and you can see CreativeAmerica’s here. it seems pretty clear that CreativeAmerica simply scraped and copied PK’s. So creative! Of course, we have no problem with this general kind of building on the works of others. We consider such remixing and building on the works of others a true form of creativity. We just find it a wee bit (well, actually, more than that) hypocritical for an organization set up by the big movie studios for the express purpose of pushing for heftier punishment for those who copy… to then go and copy stuff themselves. Paraphrasing the critics in our own comments: What’s wrong, CreativeAmerica, can’t you create your own works here? why do you have to “steal” the work of other people who actually did the work?

Donald Trump Breaks With Republican Party; Switches Voter Registration to Independent

After years as a registered GOP voter, the Celebrity Apprentice star and real estate mogul filed paperwork Thursday to become an independent in his home state of New York, Politico reported.

The move follows months of Trump suggesting that he would do so if he weren't satisfied with the Republican presidential candidate.

Michael Cohen, special counsel to Trump, told Politico that the move was indeed made "to preserve his right to run as an independent if he is (unhappy) with the GOP nominee."

It's not the first time Trump has switched his political affiliation; he was once registered as a Democrat.

The most recent switch comes less than two weeks after Trump's decision to back out of moderating a Republican debate in Iowa on Dec. 27. when announcing his decision, he again mentioned that he still might run for the GOP nomination.

“it is very important to me that the right Republican candidate be chosen to defeat the failed and very destructive Obama Administration, but if that Republican, in my opinion, is not the right candidate, I am not willing to give up my right to run as an independent candidate,” Trump said in his statement. “Therefore, so that there is no conflict of interest within the Republican Party, I have decided not to be the moderator of the Newsmax debate.”

Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum were the only Republican candidates who had agreed to appear at the debate.

After the announcement came that Trump would be moderating the Dec. 27, some of the candidates, including Ron Paul and Jon Huntsman, expressed their belief that the debate was just for spectacle and refused to attend.

Just ahead of Trump's announcement, The Hollywood Reporter spoke with the reality star, who admitted that he was wavering on his decision to moderate the debate.

"the problem is the Republicans are afraid that if I run as an independent candidate, they don't want to have a debate and then have me announce that I'm running as an independent candidate," Trump told THR.

Trump also told THR then that he was still considering a run for president as an independent candidate. But he said he wouldn't make any announcements until after the finale of the Celebrity Apprentice. the new season of NBC's reality show premeires Sunday, Feb. 12, and the finale airs may 20.

Two kids and nearly six years later, Matthew McConaughey popped the question to his longtime lady love, model Camila Alves, over the holiday weekend. Her answer? A big yes! The actor confirmed the engagement on Twitter.

“Just asked camila to marry me, merry Christmas,” he tweeted on Christmas Day, also posting a photo of him and Alves kissing next to Christmas decorations. The couple have a 3-year-old son, Levi, and a daughter, Vida, who turns 2 next month.

In the March issue of Esquire, the actor gushed about his bride-to-be. “Before this, I had a super home in the Hollywood Hills that I did by myself — landscaping, detailing pretty much everything. But that house was mine. and yeah, we coulda gone in there right away. In September 2008, McConaughey opened up to People about Alves, calling her “the love of my life.” The two began dating in 2006. “I always wanted to be a father and thought it would be great, but it just took the right woman and the right time to make it all happen,” he said. “We’re a family now. I see the future and it’s clearer to me now. Walking around with this cool responsibility all the time, it’s a wonderful thing.”

Mila Kunis’ Marine Corps Ball Date: Actress Was ‘Down To Earth’

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — like her “Friends with Benefits” leading man Justin Timberlake, Mila Kunis fit right in with the men and women at the Marine Corps Ball in Greenville, North Carolina this past weekend.

Following JT’s appearance at a Ball in Washington D.C. last week, Mila followed through with her promise to Sgt. Scott Moore and the lucky Marine appeared on Access Hollywood Live on Monday to share details from his exciting night with the actress.

“She looked very good,” he told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover. “I think all the gentlemen and ladies there were dressed to impress and she was definitely right along with that crowd. She looked very good.”

According to Sgt. Moore, the 28-year-old actress appeared to be quite comfortable with he and his fellow Marines.

”[I was surprised] just how down to earth she was. She’s just a normal person,” he said. “She was very interested in what the ball was all about.”

Sgt. Moore, who said there was some dancing and plenty of introductions throughout the night, wasn’t sure if he’d be able to take Mila out again.

“She’s really busy shooting a movie right now. I’m pretty busy doing the Marine stuff, they keep me pretty busy,” he told Billy and Kit. “I’m sure we’ll stay in touch.”

The Marine, who started the ask-a-celebrity-to-the-Marine-Corps-Ball craze back in July, has his friends to thank – in part – for landing Mila as his date.

“I kind of talked to my buddies about doing this for a while and one day we had an extra couple minutes and they called by bluff, they said, ‘put up for shut up!’” he recalled. “so, I put up.”

VP Joe Biden Explains Why SOPA & PROTECT IP Are Anti-American & A Bad Idea

A couple of weeks ago, Joe Biden gave a perfect, if unintended, explanation for why SOPA and PROTECT IP are such terrible ideas. Since his speech included a bunch of other things, we thought it would be good to highlight Biden’s specific arguments that explain why SOPA and PROTECT IP are bad, and to give him kudos for making such statements, since they contradict the statements from Hollywood on this bill. unfortunately, even with Biden’s clear and incontestable statements that show the massive harm that SOPA and PROTECT IP would cause for innovation in the US, this bill still has tremendous momentum in DC, thanks to a strong lobbying push from the legacy entertainment industry. In fact, don’t be surprised if Biden totally contradicts himself in a few weeks and pretends that he’s all for censoring the internet, harming innovation, and “fixing” what isn’t broken on the internet. That’s why we’re urging folks to support American Censorship Day tomorrow, as the House holds its first hearings ever on how best to censor the internet. Biden’s clear explanation of why SOPA & PROTECT IP are so bad should give pause to anyone supporting it — and will certainly raise serious eyebrows if/when Biden (and the White House) later change positions on these bills. oh, and if Biden does change positions, let’s hold him to it, and make it clear that the American public doesn’t appreciate flip flopping politicians, who completely contradict themselves, based on who’s supporting what legislation.
