This Dude’s Got MOVES! Triple Crown’s YoYo Monster Hits the Stage this Summer!

The Triple Crown of YoYo is teaming up with Squibbles Ink and Rotofugi to produce their first-ever vinyl toy: the Triple Crown Monster! Conceptualized by Chris Ryniak and sculpted by Scott Wetterschnieder of Shinbone Creative, this 7″ beastlie doubles as both collectible art object and coveted Triple Crown trophy!

A very limited release of the unpainted edition (pictured) will be available at the Rotofugi booth just in time for San Diego Comic con 2012. the first colourway will make its debut at the Triple Crown of YoYo event July 28th in Chicago, where folks will also get to see the rare metallic glow edition, which you can only get if you place in the top three in the Standard, Two-Handed or Aerial freestyle divisions.

Pricing is still TBA. Monsters that don’t sell at the events will be available via Rotofugi.com and TripleCrownYoYo.com.

Ways To Protect Our Hunting Rights

I was reading an article the other day that told a story of a prized quarter horse that was recently killed and left for dead by wolves in Montana. I actually saw the photos of the dead horse and it was like something out of a horror movie. the wolves had barely eaten one of his hind quarters and didn’t touch the rest of the meat. I can only imagine how angry the owner of that prized quarter horse must have been.

If you’re a hunter and you haven’t heard about the destruction that the wolves are causing to our big game herds in Montana, Wyoming and Idaho go ahead and do a google search on wolves in the Rockies. It will open your eyes.

So how can we protect our hunting rights and gun rights, which basically go hand and hand? there are several ways we can do our part. there are many great organizations out there that are fighting every day to protect our hunting and gun rights. I recommend joining as many groups as you can and keep your yearly renewals up.

Of course everyone has heard of the NRA. the NRA is the best organization when it comes to protecting our gun rights. that should be the first organization you join and you should always renew your membership with them so that you’re always a member. Ted Nugent has been a key player in bringing the NRA into the main stream media. we appreciate all you do Ted Nugent. Tell all your friends and family to join the NRA as well. Strength is built in numbers.

I would also join the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and the Mule Deer Foundation. These two great groups have become famous for helping our big game herds and the proof speaks for itself. the RMEF has transplanted more elk across America than any other entity in America and has helped our elk herds more than anyone else. They are an amazing group and I highly recommend joining them. the Mule Deer Foundation has also become famous for their part in protecting our mule deer herds from losing their habitat, being wiped out by predators and from the anti-hunters. I’ve met a few top people from these organizations and they’re good people.

These groups are on the front line everyday fighting to protect our gun and hunting rights and we owe them our support. there are millions of other people on the opposite side of the coin that are fighting everyday to take away our rights. They’re rich, powerful and not be underestimated. we all love hunting, shooting and our guns. It’s our passion. If we lose those rights it would be like losing a part of our souls.

One of our readers, Kim, was lucky enough to get pictures with Liam Hemsworth, Jennifer Lawrence, and Josh Hutcherson during “Hunger Games Week” on Good Morning America in NYC this week.

She told us, “I got lucky all three days and seemed to be in the right place at the right time to meet them, get pictures with them, and get autographs signed. it was awesome to meet them all. all though it was a bit chaotic because of the crowds, Liam, Jennifer, and Josh were really great with the fans and truly seemed to be enjoying all of the recognition!”

Also, since we’ve had a few people ask us about this recently, we decided to as Kim how easy it was to meet celebs who were appearing on GMA ,and if she had any tips. she was kind enough to share some great advice for anyone who may to try to meet a celebrity at the NYC morning show in the future, check it out below:

Now that they have the pedestrian plazas in Times Square, when the weather is nice they film the interviews outside which makes getting pictures and autographs easier. it is great because the stars have to walk outside and we were told that it is part of their appearance on the show to get them on camera signing autographs and taking pictures with fans.

Like I said when the weather is nice they film in the Pedestrian Plaza right in front of the studio, anyone that goes will see the set up for the show and know they are in the right spot (the studio is in Times Square at 44th Street and Broadway). outside, right in front of the Good Morning America studio, they have barricades set up in a path that the stars follow to make their way to the interview chairs.

With Liam, Jennifer, and Josh they brought them out and they signed while on camera, then they went back inside. a bit latter they came out again to tape the interview, between the commercial breaks during the interviews they would come over and sign more autographs and take more pictures. This is how I got my photos and autographs.

You could also wait by the stage door where they arrive and leave, but this is a smaller area and the stars are usually taken right in to the studio and leave promptly after their interview (the stage door is down W 44th street).

As far a timing, I arrived the first day for Liam at 5:00 am because I was not sure how many people would show up that early, but I realized that 5:00 am was a bit excessive. the next two days for Jennifer and Josh I got there a bit later at 6:00 am and that was still early enough to get a good spot on the barricade.

Good Morning America films from 7:00 am -9:00 am and the interviews are usually done a bit after 8:00 am. My biggest tip is to make sure you are in the front row right up against the barricade. if you are behind that first row, your odds of getting a picture or autograph are slim.

Lindzi Cox: “If I Skinny Dipped” I Might Have Won The Bachelor

Despite being sent home on The Bachelor season finale, 27-year-old business development manager Lindzi Cox feels no animosity towards California winemaker Ben Flajnik, 29.

“At the end of the day, yeah maybe it was tough for a little bit, but he made a decision, it was what’s best for him, and I respect that,” Cox said on good Morning America Tuesday. “I wish him nothing but the best.”

“When I watch it on TV, I could see why he’s with [Courtney Robertson, 28],” she added. “They really did have a solid connection.”

Cox did, however, take a small jab at Robertson, who often took her clothes off on the ABC dating show. “She was nude a lot,” Cox told co-host Lara Spencer. “Maybe if I skinny-dipped I wouldn’t be here with you.”

The jilted Bachelor contestant didn’t appear on the After the Rose special Monday, as she felt Flajnik and Robetson had too many issues that needed to be addressed.

“Ben and Courtney came out and it was a pretty emotional go they had. I think it was tough for them. I’m in a good place. I don’t really need my closure,” Cox said. “I think Ben has bigger things to worry about, so we just decided that I’d play another day.”

Cox added that she’s “in a really good place now” and doesn’t regret appearing on The Bachelor. “I learned a lot about the experience. It’s awesome. I would totally go do it again,” she said. “I wish them nothing but the best.”

Italian cruise ship Costa Concordia: L.A. women describe escape

Two Los Angeles women recounted their harrowing escape from the Italian cruise ship Costa Concordia, which ran aground and tipped over off the Italian coast.

"we were crawling up a hallway, in the dark, with only the light from the life vest strobe flashing," Georgia Ananias, 61, told the associated Press. "we could hear plates and dishes crashing, people slamming against walls."

"Have you seen 'Titanic?' That's exactly what it was," added her daughter Valerie Ananias, 31, whom the AP identified as a schoolteacher from Los Angeles.

They were traveling with their family on the cruise ship when the accident occurred.

The mother and daughter told a reporter about crawling on their knees on hallways and stairwells to get off the crippled ship. the AP said the women had dark red bruises on their knees from the crawl.
